Suburgatory (2011 2014) Tessa Altman is used to the big city but when her dad moves her away, she has to adapt to her new suburban life in Chatswin. When single dad George Altman finds a box of condoms on his daughter Tessa's nightstand, he doesn't know what to do. He eventually decides to leave the problem behind, so to speak: The family moves from a New York apartment to a house in the suburbs. It's a culture shock in the beginning, especially for Tessa, but the big-haired moms and caffeine-chugging kids start to grow on the Altmans. George's knee-jerk reaction may work out better than he'd imagined - experiencing the transition together helps dad and daughter grow closer.
