Létrange Monsieur Victor (1938) A merchant from Toulon (Raimu) of honorable appearance is in fact a receiver for a band of criminals. Threatened with blackmail, he commits a murder for which an innocent man is condemned to the penal colony (Pierre Blanchar). Eight years later, the convict escapes and our trader collects it.
